The Utility Smart Grid Integration Project (USGI Project) is funded by UK Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions (UK PACT) and implemented by a consortium including WEC, Greenage Technologies, and Priston Mill. The project is working with the Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) to develop a replicable framework for grid modernization and prepare a pilot project for implementation. The project aims to reduce ATC&C losses for DisCos, improve supply for customers, and enable integration of renewable energy.
